646f9e108c After separating from his wife, Leonard Parker (Cosby) quit the spy business and became a restaurateur. His wife refuses to speak with him, and his daughter, who changes her career more often than her clothes, has begun dating a man old enough to be Leonard's father! On top of it all, the government has asked him to come back and save the world again. The evil Medusa Johnson (Foster) has hypnotized animals into doing her bidding, and plans to use them to take over the world! It's up to Leonard to save the world, as only he can battle her Vegetarians and man-eating rabbits! A secret agent is called out of retirement to save the world from an evil genius. Leonard Part 6 is a not too smart, but surprisingly clever spy-flick spoof. Just a spot or two below Leslie Neilson's last few attempts (Dracula, Dead and Loving It or Repossessed), this spoof should not be thrown into a satire waste bin. However, it is a sad way to remember the man who will forever in our hearts be Cliff Huxtable. People who like this movie are few and far between. Everyone has hated it since it was first released, won the Razzie for Worst Picture, but to tell you the truth, I really don't see why.

This movie, like the recent Austin Powers films, is stupid, pointless, and over-the-top, but it's on purpose, and you have to realize this. How can you hate a movie with ostrich-back riding and killer frogs, lobsters, bees, squirrels and rabbits?

Also there are a few parodies, but they are so subtle they don't deprave the movie of its originality. (E.I.: the flaming cloth from the gunfire, "The Godfather Part 2")

And you can't help but like the explanation for not being able to find a Leonard Part 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.

I think I'm going to try to buy it. 8/10 This is the 6th mission for CIA agent Leonard Parker. There are no films about his first five missions (nor will there ever be). This is a stand alone film with no prequels or sequels.
